Job Summary

• You will provide a positive and satisfying claims experience for clients through proper investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of property claims. You will learn to use innovative technologies such as drones for property inspections. The position involves on-site inspections and virtual claim handling software to guide clients through the claim process. This role is full-time and involves field work within the territory, including St. Cloud, Brainerd, Northern Minnesota, and surrounding areas.

Main activities

• Investigate claims by determining policy coverage, evaluate damages, negotiate, and settle claims.
• Contact insureds, claimants, and relevant parties to gather information, obtain statements, and explain the claims process.
• Conduct physical or virtual inspections of damaged property, evaluate damages, and prepare estimates according to policy provisions and liability.

Qualifications:

Do you meet the requirements?

• Multilingual skills are preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Xactimate, or similar claims estimating software.
• Knowledge of residential and commercial construction techniques.
• Ability to work beyond normal hours as needed.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive.
• Physical ability to walk, reach, climb, and crawl during inspections, sometimes in adverse conditions.
• Capability to lift, carry, and climb ladders weighing up to 50 pounds for roof inspections.
• May be required for catastrophic duty.
• Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of experience, education, and training.
