Ccms- is seeking a 1099 Residential or Commercial Field Adjuster to expand our roster for Kansas City, KS. The candidate will perform field property inspections, gather statements, and prepare loss documentation.

Required is at least 1 year of first-party adjusting experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Xactimate. You must maintain your own estimating software and have reliable internet access and MS Word.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year first-party commercial and/or residential property adjusting experience.
• Maintain own current estimating software - Xactimate preferred (Cotality a plus).
• Working computer with internet access and Microsoft Word.

Responsabilités

• Complete residential and commercial field property inspections utilizing Xactimate software.
• Investigate claims by obtaining recorded statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses and by interviewing officials as well as inspecting damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation, through well-supported reserve report.
• Obtain and interpret official reports.
• Review coverage forms and endorsements, provide analysis of coverage issues in a well-documented initial captioned report to the client.
• Maintain acceptable product quality through compliance with established best practices.
