Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of first-party commercial/residential property adjusting experience
• Knowledge of Xactimate and ability to use estimating software
• Proficient in preparing Statement of Loss and Proof of Loss and denial letters
• Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Complete residential and commercial field property inspections utilizing Xactimate software
• Investigate claims by obtaining statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses and by interviewing officials and inspecting damages
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation with a well-supported reserve report
• Obtain and interpret official reports
• Review coverage forms and endorsements and provide analysis in a well-documented initial captioned report to the client
• Maintain product quality through compliance with established best practices
