Job summary

HomeTowne Studios & Suites by Red Roof in Covington, GA is seeking a Courtesy Officer to join our team. The role supports property safety, conducts patrols, assists guests, and ensures secure entry and egress while maintaining a welcoming environment.

The position is part-time with a starting wage of $18–$19 per hour. Candidates should be able to lift 75 lbs, handle conflicts professionally, and communicate effectively with staff and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and endure outdoor elements.
• Strong communication and conflict-handling skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform patrols of the property to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and disturbances.
• Protect the property from theft, vandalism, and disturbances.
• Monitor entrances and assist visitors with proper escort if needed.
• Communicate with GM and document incidents nightly.
• Assist guests and perform light maintenance and office tasks.
