Orange County Government is seeking a Property Control Specialist to assist with accounting for County-owned property and perform extensive fieldwork. You will inventory assets and maintain asset records with high accuracy.
The role requires preparing forms in Excel, Word, and FoxIt for acquisitions and dispositions, plus data analysis, reconciling reports, and handling administrative duties with attention to detail.

The Property Control Specialist is responsible for assisting with the accounting for and control of County- owned property. A substantial amount of fieldwork is required. The position performs inventory of County-owned property and is responsible for updating asset records with a high degree of accuracy.
The Property Control Specialist position prepares input forms using Excel, Word, and FoxIt for acquisition and disposition of County-owned tangible equipment with a high-degree of accuracy. The Property Control Specialist must be able to perform administrative duties, compile/analyze data, reconcile reports and correct discrepancies.
