Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. (TMAM) is seeking a Community Manager for Cedar Terrace in Chantilly, VA. You will supervise site operations, ensure timely tenant service, and drive occupancy targets while coordinating with the Regional Manager.

Responsibilities include managing maintenance staff, conducting inspections, handling rent collection and reporting, and developing resident programs. A vehicle and valid driver’s license are required to perform site errands and duties as assigned by TMAM

Qualifications

Experience in residential property management and tenant relations.
Ability to maintain high occupancy and handle certifications.
Strong communication in English and basic arithmetic.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for site errands.

Responsibilities

Ensure tenants receive prompt, courteous service and resolve complaints.
Strive to maintain occupancy close to 100%.
Perform residents' income recertifications where applicable.
Oversee rent collection and maintain accounting records.
Supervise maintenance staff and site operations.
Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment; report deficiencies.
Prepare property condition reports and maintenance summaries.
Coordinate with Regional Manager and maintain files and purchasing within budget.
Develop and implement resident programs and site events.
Attend mandatory meetings and communicate in writing.
