Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Group in Toledo is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain clean, safe, and orderly residential buildings and grounds. You will perform routine cleaning, grounds upkeep, minor repairs, and assist with unit turnover to support a positive resident experience.

The requirements include a High School diploma or GED and at least two years of janitorial or custodial work. Pool certification is needed for properties with a pool; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ janitorial or custodial experience.
• Pool certification if applicable; driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas such as lobbies, restrooms, stairwells, laundry rooms, kitchens, offices, and multi-purpose spaces.
• Perform deep cleaning of vacant units during turnover.
• Remove graffiti, debris, and litter from interior and exterior property areas.
• Walk property daily to pick up litter, remove pet waste, and check for hazards.
• Assist with snow removal and apply salt on walkways in winter.
• Support exterior work such as fence repair, painting, or screen replacement.
• Perform minor repairs and replace light bulbs; monitor lighting in hallways and exterior areas.
