Job summary

Fergus Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Property Cleaner / Light Maintenance Technician to maintain rental properties in Fergus Falls. This full-time role covers cleaning interiors between tenants, hallways, common areas, and exterior spaces, with light maintenance tasks to keep units ready for tenants.

Responsibilities include turnover cleaning, basic maintenance, inventory management, and safe, professional interactions with tenants and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically able to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks (lift 40–50 lbs).
• Flexible schedule to accommodate unit turnovers.

Responsibilities

• Clean rental units between tenants, including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, windows, appliances, cabinets and fixtures.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, entryways, laundry rooms and other common areas.
• Clean exterior areas and manage waste disposal.
• Perform light maintenance tasks and report safety concerns promptly.
• Keep records of work completed when required.
