Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in underwriting coordination, administrative support or customer service roles in the insurance industry.
• Experience with insurance policy issuance and renewal processes preferred.
• Must meet minimum requirements for state property & casualty and/or surplus line licenses.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and physical files for underwriting records.
• Document underwriting decisions via automated desktop systems.
• Support the collection, validation, and organization of data related to insurance applications.
• Coordinate the renewal process and assist in client communications.
• Underwrite individual insurance applications for Property and Casualty coverage.
