• Underwrite property and casualty insurance applications and decide to accept, change, or decline risk.
• Review risk details like property value, location, use, and safety features.
• Collaborate with field teams to gather necessary information.
• Explain underwriting decisions clearly in writing and in conversation.
• Support account service or account management work.
• Work with Senior Underwriter to keep accounts moving.
