• Detail oriented; strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite individual property and casualty insurance applications.
• Decide whether to accept, change, or decline risk based on guidelines.
• Explain underwriting decisions clearly in writing and in conversation.
• Support a Senior Underwriter with account service and account management work.
