Job summary

Jeffco Public Schools is seeking an experienced Adjuster, Property & Casualty for a 1.0 FTE monthly position in Jefferson County, Colorado. The role involves investigating and adjusting claims, managing RMIS data, coordinating repairs, and pursuing subrogation where applicable.

Starting salary is aligned with a pay range of $29.04–$36.72 per hour, with full benefits and a nonexempt status. The ideal candidate has 3 years of relevant claims experience and preferably public entity exposure.

Qualifications

• Three years of general liability, auto, and property claims experience.
• Two years of public entity experience preferred.
• ARM/ARM-P preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and adjust property, casualty, and auto claims for the district.
• Manage RMIS entries, status updates, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Coordinate repairs, pursue subrogation, and ensure timely claim resolution.
• Provide cost information and support for defense counsel when needed.
• Maintain accurate electronic claim files and confidentiality.
