Selfhelp Realty Group in New York, NY is seeking a dedicated maintenance/janitorial professional to keep common areas clean and safe. Under the supervision of the Superintendent, you will perform cleaning tasks and assist with basic upkeep.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently. The position involves lifting up to 25 pounds, and occasional exposure to weather and cleaning chemicals. Local travel to properties may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Able to multi-task and work independently with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain clean and groomed appearance of all common areas.
• Perform cleaning tasks: sweeping, vacuuming, floors, glass surfaces.
• Assist with exterior maintenance and lawn care.
• Prepare apartments for turnover per guidelines.
• Clean and maintain community buildings and surrounding grounds.
• Collect and dispose of debris daily.
• Report health, safety, or environmental concerns.
• Assist Superintendent with other duties as needed.
