Job Description: Property Attendant

This is a great opportunity for a dedicated hospitality professional to coordinate the CLEAN & SAFE programs. Our most successful Property Attendants take pride in and enjoy a variety of tasks to exceed standards and keep guests satisfied. Responsibilities include cleaning studio checkouts and stayovers, maintaining public areas, landscape upkeep, and general preventative maintenance.

Essential Functions:

• The work schedule may vary by location.
• Maintenance tasks: shampooing carpets, light electrical work (e.g., changing outlets or switches), light plumbing (e.g., plunging toilets, snaking drains), preventive maintenance, pesticide treatments, janitorial tasks, parking lot upkeep, drywall repair, painting, and caulking.
• Laundry duties: washing, drying, and folding linens.
• Maintain property and guest laundry facilities.
• Housekeeping: preparing rooms after check-out and cleaning upon guest departure.
• Implement the CLEAN & SAFE programs.
• Perform stay-over cleans during staff shortages.
• Be on-call for guest services and emergency needs; backup for Safety Attendant, Assistant General Manager, or General Manager when needed.
• Give tours to potential guests and assist in closing sales.
• Check in guests arriving after hours, with or without reservations.
• Conduct PMS system audits.
• Ensure property and guest security.
• Respond to supervisor requests and follow-up as needed.
• Wash, dry, and fold laundry as directed.
• Administer keys and know emergency procedures.
• Familiarize with area attractions and services to assist guests.
• Suggest and sell services and amenities to guests.
• Review studio inventory and operate within guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for extended periods.
• Kneeling and squatting.
• Climbing ladders.
• Lifting and pushing/pulling 20 lbs overhead or horizontally.
