The Property and Evidence Custodian is a non-sworn civilian member of the Police Department under the supervision of the Detective Sergeant. The role involves the receipt, storage, and transfer of seized, recovered, and evidentiary physical and digital property.
The position requires discretion, task prioritization, adaptability to new technologies, and the ability to work under minimal supervision. The role is part-time, up to 20 hours per week, with a maximum of 1,000 hours annually. Hours and days are flexible, generally Monday to Friday.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
