Job summary

Copeland Insurance Group in Longview, TX, is seeking a dedicated Property & Casualty Insurance Account Manager to manage an existing book of commercial clients and identify opportunities to place them with appropriate policies and carriers.

Ideal candidates will have a TX P&C license or be willing to obtain within 90 days, plus proficiency with agency software and Excel, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• License in General Property & Casualty Insurance, Texas preferred or willing to obtain within 90 days.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in Agency Account Management Software (Applied Epic, PL Rater).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with administrative work.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Network and build relationships with potential clients.
• Understand client needs and recommend suitable policies.
• Complete all paperwork related to insurance policies.
• Stay up to date with changes in products, compliance and regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Primary Skills & Requirements:

• General Property & Casualty Insurance License-TEXAS preferred or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in Agency Account Management Software (Ex: Applied Epic, PL Rater)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Effectively manage time and have the ability to prioritize tasks and use a sense of urgency to meet strict deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
