Byrd & Essigmann Insurance Agency in Hiram, GA seeks a licensed Property & Casualty Agent to protect families and businesses. You will review client portfolios, advise on coverage gaps, and support clients through claims with empathy, while generating new business through local referrals.

Ideal candidates have a GA P&C license, experience in insurance sales or high-volume client services, and comfort with agency management systems and quote software to deliver accurate, timely service.

Qualifications

• Georgia Property & Casualty license required and maintained for at least 2 years.
• Experience in insurance sales or high-volume client services.
• Proficient with agency management systems and digital document handling.

Responsibilities

• Review existing policy portfolios to ensure clients have the right protection for evolving life circumstances.
• Generate new business through referrals and community outreach efforts in the Hiram area.
• Provide expert guidance on coverage gaps and endorse improvements to client safety.
• Manage policy renewals by proactively checking updates and identifying potential savings.
• Assist clients during the claims process with empathy and clear instructions.
• Collaborate with underwriting to ensure complete and precise information for every application.

• Dedication to maintaining accuracy in documentation and compliance reporting.
• Previous experience with carrier quoting software.
