Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a Property Adjuster. Are you ready to make a difference in the property claims process? We are seeking a skilled Property Adjuster to join our innovative team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in coverage evaluation, estimating skill and claim handling experience to help refine solutions that accurately and fairly assess property damage claims.
The ideal candidate has experience adjusting both commercial and residential property losses, excels at negligence determination, and possesses a strong aptitude for assessing interior property damage. Responsibilities:

1. Perform Damage Identification: Accurately identify and document property damages for both commercial and residential properties, ensuring comprehensive assessments.
2. Perform Line Item Validation: Review and validate reconstruction estimates, ensuring they meet policy terms and industry standards.
3. Ensure Compliance: Verify that claims processes comply with corporate policies, client guidelines, regulatory standards, and ethical considerations.
4. Review Automated Reports: Validate the accuracy and completeness of damage reports and estimates generated by automated systems, providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Experience: 2-4 years of estimating experience, with a background at either a carrier or independent adjusting (IA) firm.
2. Guideline Adherence: Proven ability to adhere to carrier-specific guidelines and processes.
3. Certifications: Xactimate certifications are highly desirable.
4. Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work assigned shifts:
   • Morning Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (EST)
   • Midday Shift: 10:00 AM - 6 PM (EST)
   • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (EST)
5. Extended Hours: Availability to work extended hours during catastrophes.
6. CAT Event Experience: Exposure to catastrophic event (CAT) scenarios and the ability to handle the associated workload and pressure.
