FourSite Property Management, operating under Bach Team, seeks a detail-oriented Property Accountant to support accurate financial reporting for its multifamily portfolio. You will own property-level accounting activities, strengthen month-end close, and partner with operations and the Controller to drive asset performance.

The role emphasizes reliable financials, close attention to detail, and collaboration with property managers and regional leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field is preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of multifamily property accounting experience.
• Experience with RealPage, Yardi, Entrata, or similar PM systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and financial reporting proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting close process for assigned properties, including recurring entries and reconciliations.
• Review property manager month-end submissions for completeness and accuracy; follow up on discrepancies.
• Prepare and reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts; investigate reconciling items.
• Review property-level GL activity for unusual transactions and coding errors.
• Maintain organized workpapers and close checklists to meet reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and review monthly property financial statements and schedules for Controller.
• Assist with budget-to-actual variance analysis and explain material fluctuations.
• Collaborate with Property Managers on account coding and accruals.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, audits, and owner reporting.
• Manage all property-related accounts payable and timely payments.
• Maintain accounting controls and standardized procedures across the portfolio.
• Use RealPage and related tools to validate data and improve reporting efficiency.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to reduce rework.
