Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in Seattle, WA seeks an experienced Property Accountant for a temp-to-hire role. You will own full-cycle property accounting, perform month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a diverse real estate portfolio, partnering with property managers and leaders.

The role offers hybrid work flexibility, strong collaboration, and opportunities to impact portfolio performance. 3+ years in real estate accounting and expert Yardi Voyager skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of property accounting experience in commercial/multifamily/real estate.
• Advanced Yardi Voyager experience required.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and property accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle property accounting for a portfolio of properties.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, tenant receivables, deposits, and GL activity.
• Review AP, vendor payments, tenant billing, rent rolls, CAM reconciliations, and lease accounting.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, audits, and internal controls.
• Maintain accurate records in Yardi Voyager and collaborate with property managers and leadership.
