Job summary

Woodruff Property Management Company is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to manage financial transactions, reporting, and compliance for a growing property portfolio. The role emphasizes accuracy, strong accounting knowledge, and experience with property management financials.

Hybrid/remote-flexible full-time role with responsibilities across accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, tax compliance, and system maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in property accounting or real estate finance
• Proficiency in property management software (Entrata, Yardi, AppFolio, MRI) preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and reporting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements accurately and on time
• Provide financial performance analysis across multiple properties
• Prepare reserve draws for multiple lenders
