Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• 3-5 years accounting experience, property accounting preferred.
• Yardi experience is firmly required.
• Excel proficiency required; Salesforce experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting functions for assigned properties and prepare related reports.
• Review documents and apply accounting/reporting requirements accurately.
• Monitor AR/AP aging, cash flows, and cash positions; manage unapplied cash and bad debt allowances.
• Approve accounts payable and resolve payable issues with field teams.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly closings and supporting schedules for accounts.
• Review tenant ledgers, CAM reconciliations, and capital expenditure activity.
• Record contributions, distributions and reconcile equity/investments for entities.
• Follow GAAP and ensure proper year-end work papers and audits.
