Job summary

Jobot in Dallas is seeking a Property Accountant to join our growing commercial real estate team. This permanent role focuses on accounting for a portfolio of properties, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

You will manage day-to-day operations, prepare monthly statements, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 1+ year CRE accounting experience preferred, with Yardi proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1+ years of Property Accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate.
• Proficiency in Yardi software or equivalent property management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our commercial real estate portfolio.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including property managers, lenders, and investors.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Review and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
