Job summary

Kirco-Management-Services-Ltd in Troy, MI, is seeking a Property Accountant to manage the accounting duties for KIRCO/SK Medical Management’s properties and related investment entities.

You will collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate tenant accounts, CAM allocations, and financial statement preparation, while supporting lender due diligence, budgets, and tax workpapers.

Qualifications

• Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
• Ability to provide proactive analysis.
• High energy, flexibility and constant positive attitude.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Use of various computer software applications related to general business practices. Must have significant experience with spreadsheet programs and Adobe Acrobat. Yardi experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with accruals, CAM reconciliations and fixed asset accounting per owner specs.
• Reconcile bank accounts monthly.
• Assist with lender due diligence.
• Collaborate with property managers on A/R reports and tenant issues.
• Assist with annual property budget preparation.
• Prepare tax workpapers for respective properties.
• Prepare CAM estimates and reconciliations for properties and present to tenants.
• Maintain rent rolls and escrow accounts as needed.
