Job summary

Kforce's client on Long Island, a successful commercial real estate company, seeks a Property Accountant. You will work closely with the CFO, handling a wide range of accounting and bookkeeping tasks. This is an attractive role with strong long-term potential in a beautiful Long Island setting.

The position offers real estate accounting experience, with some remote flexibility, and a clear path to growth within a respected firm. Office presence in Nassau County is required on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience with MRI and/or Yardi
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Requirements

• 4+ years of related accounting/bookkeeping experience working with MRI and/or Yardi software
• Public accounting (with Real estate clientele) or Real Estate Management company experience are preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
• Please note: while there is some flexibility around working remotely, candidates should have a car and be willing to work in a safe, spacious Nassau County office on a regular basis

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
