What You’ll Do:
- Keep our finances running smoothly by managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and electronic banking.
- Process and review invoices, payments, journal entries, and financial records.
- Reconcile bank and loan statements to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Work directly with third-party collection companies and maintain the bad debt schedule.
- Track replacement reserves and real estate tax bills to safeguard our investments.
- Ensure financial compliance with Fair Housing, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and local regulations.
- Partner with Community Managers and Regional Managers to enhance financial efficiency.
- Take ownership of Yardi software, handling upgrades, fixes, and training.
- Approve move-out statements and track unit assets like appliances and carpeting.
- Assist with filing yearly 1099s and support property management initiatives.
- Be an integral part of our finance team, tackling new challenges head-on.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Required).
- 1-2 years of accounting experience (Property management background preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Yardi (or similar software).
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Your Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. (minimum 40 hours per week)
- Full-Time, On-Site.
