Spectrum Search Group is partnering with a growing real estate investment organization to add a Property Accountant who will handle monthly close activities, financial reporting, and analyze property-level accounting across a portfolio of assets. The role collaborates with finance and operations on reporting, variance analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The position offers exposure to accounting, finance, and operations, with compensation that includes a bonus and stock options.

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly close activities and financial reporting for a portfolio of assets
• Review property-level accounting activity, reconciliations, and general ledger balances
• Partner with finance and operations teams on reporting and analysis
• Assist with budget variance reviews and financial performance reporting
• Support audit requests, special projects, and process improvement initiatives

Experience:

• 1-3+ years of accounting experience within real estate or property accounting
• Experience in Yardi is highly preferred
• Understanding of month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Depending on experience and skill set, this role pays $80k-$85k + bonus + stock
