Express Employment Professionals, Anaheim South is seeking a Property Accountant to manage financial activities for multiple properties in the Orange County area. The role focuses on accurate closing statements, accounts payable scheduling, and detailed variance analyses to support financial decision making.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting with proven property accounting experience, knowledge of GAAP, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Property Accountant.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Rent Manager or Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a high pace environment.

Position Overview

Are you a detail-oriented and driven individual with a strong background in accounting, Express Employment Professionals, Anaheim South, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Accountant for our client located in Tustin.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare closing statements for 15-17 properties
• Review and schedule payments for accounts payable
• Provide a detailed Variance analysis
• Maintain regularly detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
• Prepare documentation for external auditors
• Run the month-end close process, including journal entry preparation and account/bank reconciliations
