Job summary

Nammo Defense Systems Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to oversee the manufacturing of composite propellant-loaded devices, including rocket motors and gas generators.

You will ensure processes meet engineering requirements and collaborate across Program Management, Supply Chain, Operations, R&D, Quality, and Product Engineering. The role involves developing manufacturing processes for new products, owning production process technicals, and supporting equipment validation and facility design.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with propellants, pyrotechnics and/or explosives in manufacturing.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing or Process Engineering.
• Knowledge of DoE, FMEA and PHA is preferred.
• Understanding of energetic materials regulations and safe handling.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to safely process propellants, pyrotechnics, and explosives.
• Develop processes to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.
• Document all process documentation (BOMs, process flows, work instructions).
• Lead DOE, FMEA, and PHA activities for process improvement.
• Create technical documentation packages (test plans, reports, validation data).
• Coordinate validation and evaluations for manufacturing equipment.
• Present progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical training to technicians and operations teams.
