Job summary

Amentum in Florida is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to operate and maintain cryogenic and propellant gas systems, including high and low pressure lines, storage vessels, and related equipment.

You will refurbish, test, certify, and calibrate gear, perform corrosion control and painting, follow drawings and vendor manuals, and support safety and regulatory compliance; US citizenship and CDL with X endorsement may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 4 years’ related experience.
• Ability to read drawings and work safely on energized and de-energized equipment.
• Must possess Florida Class A Hazardous CDL with X endorsement or obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Modify, refurbish, test and operate gas handling equipment.
• Perform corrosion control and painting on propellant equipment.
• Fabricate and test high-pressure piping and hoses.
• Work from drawings, schematics and vendor manuals.
• Maintain logs, certifications, and safety records.
