Opportunity 180 is offering a Propel Expansion Fellowship to lead the creation and expansion of a high-quality public charter school in Nevada. Fellows will be embedded in a high-performing incubator site in Las Vegas, building partnerships with families and community leaders to design and scale an innovative school model.

The fellowship requires residency in Las Vegas, with relocation reimbursement and ongoing support from Opportunity 180.

Qualifications

Mastery of and enthusiasm for academic subjects and instructional coaching.
Track record of producing dramatic, demonstrable student achievement gains or comparable results in their current field.
Ability to approach situations with optimism and perseverance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Master’s Educational Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field; OR at least 5 years experience in school administration, public administration, or business administration and a Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsabilités

Build partnerships with families, community leaders, and organizations in Nevada to support transformational outcomes for children.
Mobilize coalitions to advocate for expanded high-quality public school options and support expansion of a charter school.
Evolve the school model to meet community needs and collaborate with the CMO to secure authorization for expansion.
Lead planning and professional development to ensure rigorous daily lessons and interventions.
Coordinate family engagement and staff development to promote equity and academic achievement.
