CHS Inc. in Herman, MN is seeking a Propane Truck Driver to haul propane to customers and assist with tank service/maintenance.

The role operates on a Monday–Friday schedule with additional weekend shifts during peak season, and requires safe driving with a Class A or B CDL and Hazmat/tanker endorsements. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience, strong safety adherence, and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

• Deliver professional, customer-focused service during pickups and deliveries, and coordinate with internal teams as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report equipment issues, maintenance needs, incidents, or near misses promptly. Perform interior maintenance and upkeep as needed.
• Prepare delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports; record accurate electronic logs
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving, including route and hazard awareness. Immediately notify leadership of incidents, near misses, spills/releases, or safety concerns

Summary

CHS in Herman, MN is looking for a Propane Truck Driver to join our team. This individual is responsible for hauling propane to our customers in a timely manner as well as assisting with service/maintenance on tanks. The schedule for this position is M-F with weekends as needed during the busy season. The ideal candidate would possess a Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements or the ability to obain.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)
• Valid Hazmat endorsement required, or willingness to obtain within the required timeframe.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to safely climb in and out of truck cabs and trailers
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments with regular exposure to hazardous materials.

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
