Job summary

AgVantage FS is seeking a field technician to install and maintain liquid gas systems for customers and company divisions across Iowa. The role involves safety-focused installation, testing, and repair work, with regular scheduling and record-keeping responsibilities.

The position requires knowledge of propane systems, the ability to work in varying weather, and a valid driver’s license. Travel to local sites and adherence to safety policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of propane systems and safety practices.
• Ability to read diagrams and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain customer and company liquid gas systems.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance/repair for cost efficiency.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Perform pressure tests and leak tests on systems.
• Maintain records of regulators and tanks/equipment.
• Document and process orders, scheduling, inventory, and communication.
