Job summary

FS System in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Propane Service Technician and Delivery to install, service, and warranty propane equipment for customers. You will record transactions, assist with collections, handle complaints, and obtain customer signatures for pickup or delivery.

The role requires a technical degree or certification, 5+ years of service experience, and the ability to read site plans and blueprints. You may work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of service-related work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install LP tanks, lines, regulators and LP equipment according to code for customers.
• Test LP systems for leaks and deliver LP cylinders.
• Respond to and resolve service requests, leak reports and complaints.
• Assist propane sales and delivery personnel as needed or as relief delivery driver.
• Assist in collecting accounts and contracting of LP, handle complaints promptly.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by promoting good relations; advise on product use.
