Job summary

Tiger Fuel Company is seeking a Propane Service Technician with CDL to join our team and support our legacy of service and safety. You will install, repair and maintain propane distribution systems for retail customers, including tank deliveries and emergency response.

A Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements or intent to obtain is required; Tiger will support CDL education through internal programs. You will work independently with teammates and provide top‑notch service to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience with installation and repair of propane-based heating systems, equipment and appliances.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and maintaining propane operated appliances.
• Class B CDL license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements or intent to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and maintains propane distribution systems for retail customers.
• Tank deliveries utilizing flatbed truck with CDL requirement.
• Provides emergency response and system installation and testing.
• Provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries.
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies or routine maintenance.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers and unloads propane equipment to and from destinations.
• Requires on-call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response.
