Job summary

Pinnacle Propane is seeking a Service Technician to safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers, conduct daily vehicle inspections, and ensure accurate delivery documentation. You will safeguard equipment, follow DOT and Hazmat safety requirements, and uphold high standards of service.

You will communicate clearly with customers, identify safety concerns, and maintain vehicles and tools in top condition, supporting company safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year propane service/HVAC/plumbing/mechanical/utility experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and remove propane equipment.
• Install service lines per NFPA 54/58 and regulations.
• Perform gas leak tests, pressure tests, and safety inspections.
• Diagnose and repair propane appliances and equipment.
• Operate service equipment safely and follow safety procedures.
• Educate customers on safe propane usage and emergency procedures.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service.
• Participate in after-hours emergency response and on-call rotation.
