Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable Service Technician in Kansas to install, maintain, and repair propane systems for residential and commercial customers. You will respond to emergency calls, perform safety testing, and ensure reliable propane delivery while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of related experience, hold a valid driver’s license, and may have CDL Class B Hazmat/Tanker endorsements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of related service or technical experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (preferred)
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain propane systems and equipment for residential and commercial customers
• Respond to emergency calls and perform system testing to ensure safety compliance
• Safely load, transport, and deliver propane as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing safety and service information
• Assist with appliance service and deliveries when needed based on customer demand
