Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of propane, HVAC, mechanical, or related field service experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements preferred or ability to obtain.
• Propane Education and Research Councils’ PEP certification preferred or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.
• Strong knowledge of propane systems, NFPA codes, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely install, inspect, maintain, and repair propane tanks, piping systems, regulators, valves, and related equipment.
• Perform leak checks, pressure tests, and system inspections.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot propane system issues and fuel delivery systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and codes and regulations.
• Submit all service documentation and regulatory reports accurately and timely.
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide on-call support as scheduled.
• Communicate with management and customers regarding timelines and safety.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in safe condition.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Report accidents, unsafe acts, and near misses immediately.
• Operate a propane bobtail and deliver propane as needed.
• Prepare existing tanks for installation, including painting.
