Job summary

Blumont Energy in Radford, VA is hiring a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot and maintain propane appliances and systems. A CDL Class B with Hazmat/Tanker/Air Brake endorsements and a clean driving record are required, with strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of propane installations.

Flexible hours including emergencies may be necessary. The role supports residential to industrial customers and requires safety-focused work, with a comprehensive benefits package and ESOP company

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Excellent driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including after-hours emergencies.
• Experience with propane systems and appliances preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain propane appliances and systems for customers.
• Deliver propane when needed.
• Run gas service lines, set tanks, and adjust regulators to meet safety regulations.
• Service residential, commercial, and industrial propane installations.
• Complete service tickets and records of work performed.
• Support emergency response and after-hours service calls.
