Job summary

Haffner's is seeking a Propane Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair propane systems for residential and commercial customers. The role involves working on site, diagnosing issues, and communicating findings and service options to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of propane service experience (trainees may be considered).
• Licenses including NH Gas Fitter license and MA LP/Master Plumber credentials are preferred.
• Clean driving record in MA/NH/ME is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair propane tanks, piping, and heating equipment at residential and commercial sites.
• Communicate scheduling and delays to dispatchers and customers clearly.
• Document installed equipment with make/model/serial numbers and test measurements.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and explain solutions to customers.
• Obtain customer signatures and update contact information after each visit.
• Keep vehicles stocked with parts, tools, and safety equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Participate in company training on latest propane service technologies.
