Job summary

Dassel's Energy is hiring a Propane Service Technician to install propane tanks and equipment, perform safety inspections, and complete servicing tasks across residential, farm, and commercial sites. You will maintain compliance with NFPA standards and state regulations while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires a Class A or B CDL with Hazmat (or ability to obtain), physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and willingness to work outdoors and participate in an on-call

Qualifications

Must have a CDL (A or B) and Hazmat endorsement, or ability to obtain.
Experience with propane or related technical work is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

Install propane tanks and related equipment per NFPA 58/54 and regulations.
Complete required state licensing, certifications, and ongoing training.
Perform DVIRs and maintain vehicle in good condition.
Process service orders, documentation, and parts billing daily.
Provide seasonal delivery support as needed.
Report safety incidents to General Manager.
Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
