Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is hiring Service Technicians at a location near you in Ohio. As a local Service Technician, you will install and repair propane tanks for residential and commercial customers, while upholding safety standards and excellent customer service.

Requirements include a valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, DOT physical, willingness to work outdoors in all weather, and ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Benefits include sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• DOT physical completed and pass background/drug screening.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate propane service vehicle on assigned routes.
• Repair existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers.
• Install new propane tanks/systems for customers.
• Occasionally perform Delivery Representative duties for propane.
• Comply with all safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Wear required PPE and work 8–12 hour shifts as needed.
