Job summary

Ferrellgas is offering a Service Technician Apprentice role for individuals who want to learn the propane trade and grow into a full Service Technician position. You will train with experienced technicians to install tanks, troubleshoot equipment, and handle service calls while gaining licenses at no cost to you.

Beginning in a hands-on apprenticeship, you will work on customer sites, learn safety procedures, and progress toward independent field work with support for licensing and endorsements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to obtain Commercial driver's license (CDL) with hazmat and tanker endorsement if not currently obtained.
• Good driving record.
• Proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding English.
• CDL Class A or B license with hazmat & tanker endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installations, repairs, and maintenance of propane equipment for retail customers under supervision.
• Learn loading, securing, transporting, delivering, and unloading propane safely.
• Assist in vehicle inspections and alert supervisor to needs.
