Job summary

Lakes Gas is seeking a propane Service Technician for a local route with a home nightly schedule and Class B CDL, for residential and commercial sites. Primary duties include customer service, sales, servicing, inspecting and installing propane tanks, cylinders and appliances. CDL, safety awareness and driving record are essential.

Work involves outdoor conditions and on‑call rotation, with physical requirements and DOT compliance. Competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (or ability to obtain).
• A clean driving record verifiable by a Federal MVR.
• Must pass a DOT physical and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Ability to read, write and clearly communicate.
• Ability to detail all service work in company orders.
• Must comply with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and sales at residential and commercial sites.
• Service, inspect and install propane tanks, cylinders and appliances.
• Assist in servicing and maintaining company vehicles and tools.
• Deliver propane to customer accounts as needed.
