Job summary

Blossman Gas in Lexington, NC is seeking a Service Apprentice to learn propane tank installation and gas equipment service with a certified Technician.

You will advance from Apprentice to Technician through a defined learning path, with hands-on on-site training, safety focus, and clear opportunities for growth in a local role.

Compensation is hourly with benefits including PTO, health/dental/vision/life, 401(k) with match, and achievable bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior propane, appliance installation/repair, or mechanical experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work locally.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers.
• Service and maintain gas comfort equipment (water heaters, dryers, ranges/stoves, fireplaces, generators).
• Work alongside a trained Service Technician and progress along a defined learning path.
• Occasional on-call duty and strong customer service skills required.
