Job summary

Ag-Land FS, Inc. in Tremont, IL seeks an LP Sales and Delivery Specialist to manage sales calls, deliver LP products, and handle accounts receivable within the assigned territory. You will help grow business by calling on customers, preparing contracts, and promoting financing tools.

The role requires a high school diploma with 1–2 years of sales experience, ability to obtain a CDL with HazMat, travel, and a clean driving record. Competitive benefits and a commission option are included.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years sales experience.
• Able to obtain CDL with HazMat endorsement.
• Willing to travel overnight.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establishes a route system in delivery territory and delivers LP products per customer requirements.
• Records daily sales and deliveries information.
• Maintains a preferred prospect list and calls on prospective customers to solicit new business.
• Prepares order forms and sales contracts.
• Communicates marketing programs and distributes sales promotion materials to customers and prospects.
• Helps in servicing customers, tank setting and removals.
• Adheres to and supports the company credit policy, checking credit history of patrons.
• Collects accounts as needed according to credit policy.
• Follows up on all customer complaints and seeks solutions in a timely manner.
• Promotes the use of Agri-Finance as a sales tool.
• Maintains tank records via Tank Spotter and utilizes tank monitors for efficiency.
• Submits required reports promptly and communicates territory activities to supervisor.
