Job summary

AgVantage FS in DeWitt, IA is seeking an Energy Service Tech to install and maintain customer and division liquid gas systems. The role requires efficient scheduling, safe operations, and accurate recordkeeping of regulators and equipment.

You will perform pressure and leak tests, work with MS Office and proprietary software, and may drive locally. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of related propane experience are expected, along with a valid driver's license and above-ground tank

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains customer and division liquid gas systems.
• Schedules efficiently to achieve a cost-effective maintenance and repair schedule.
• Maintains department equipment and vehicles for safe and proper operation.
• Conducts pressure tests to assure system integrity before service or after interruption.
• Maintains records of regulators, including date of manufacture, and changes regulators as necessary.
• Performs leak tests on customer systems as required.
• Develops and maintains a record of company owned tanks and equipment.
• Uses Microsoft Office and proprietary software to process electronic orders, scheduling, inventory and communication responsibilities.
• Works in other areas as needed within the business.
