Job summary

Freedom Ag & Energy Cooperative Inc in Maryland is seeking a Service Tech to install, maintain, and repair propane and oil burning systems. You will work with modern equipment across multiple product lines, performing safely and independently on customer sites.

The role requires valid HVAC and propane licenses, two years of relevant experience, and the ability to load and deliver fuels when needed. You will review accounts, collect payments or issue invoices, and explain usage to customers.

Qualifications

• Requires two or more years of experience with propane or oil heating systems.
• Licensing in HVAC, Propane and related trades required or able to obtain.
• Commercial driver's license and hazardous materials endorsement preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, maintenance, and repair of propane and/or oil burning systems, HVAC units, equipment, and appliances.
• May also perform repair and maintenance work on diesel or gasoline tanks and equipment.
• Gather and analyze information to diagnose malfunctions and troubleshoot systems.
• Provide usage instructions for all equipment and appliances serviced.
• Review account details, collect payments or provide invoices, and confirm future service with customers.
• Depending upon location, may load and deliver supplies of propane and/or other fuels according to standard operating procedures.
