Job summary

Prairieland FS, Inc. in Taylor, MO is seeking an Energy Service Technician to perform propane and refined fuel installations and delivery, with a focus on safety and customer service.

You'll work under the Energy Service Manager, maintain records, drive to customer sites, manage inventory, and participate in sales-driven activities and bonuses as eligible. Exempt status applies; base pay ranges $45k–$60k per year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or related cert preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of propane, fuel and energy systems is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Teamwork and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs propane and refined fuel installations following policy.
• Maintains records and documents work orders; obtains customer signatures.
• Delivers propane and refined fuel to customers' homes/businesses.
• Replaces outdated propane regulators and maintains inventory controls.
• Engages in sales calls to solicit new business and explains contracts and programs.
• Handles complaints promptly and completes activity reports.
