Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Worker to handle forklift operations, loading/unloading storage containers, and assisting customers with dispatch and rental systems.

Responsibilities include inspections of U-Box containers, documentation for deliveries, and maintaining a clean, secure warehouse. The role emphasizes safety, ongoing training through U-Haul University, and adherence to regulatory driving rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Adhere to all local, state (provincial) and federal vehicular regulations while driving.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from a storage facility.
• Provide customer assistance, including the sale of support items and use of online dispatch and rental systems.
• Perform customer-ready inspections of U‑Box containers prior to dispatch and upon return.
• Prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods.
• Ensure that the warehouse storage facility is clean, dry and secure.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
